Terms of Use
What using Occxam means
Reading Occxam means you accept these terms as the basis on which articles about strategy, startups and technology are offered to you. You remain responsible for any business decision you take after reading them. Questions can go to [email protected].
Information, not business or financial advice
Everything on occxam.it is general commentary and analysis. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not take account of your company’s finances, market or obligations. Case studies and examples are illustrations, not predictions, and past results of a company do not promise the same outcome for yours. Before raising money, signing a contract, hiring or adopting new software, speak to a qualified adviser who knows your situation.
Who owns what
The articles, layout and original graphics on Occxam belong to the operator or are used with permission. You may read them, quote a short passage with a clear credit and share the address of a page. Copying full pieces, republishing them or using them in paid material requires written consent.
Using the site properly
Do not scrape the archive in bulk, flood the site with automated requests, probe it for weaknesses or use it to distribute malicious code. Do not post or send spam, fake endorsements or misleading claims about a company in a message to us. Visitors whose traffic threatens the site’s stability may find their requests refused.
What you send us
If you send a correction, tip or story idea, you confirm that you may share it and that it does not reveal another company’s confidential information. You allow us to use the idea to improve Occxam, with no duty to reply, credit you or publish it.
Sponsors, affiliate links and outside sites
Occxam may in future carry advertising, sponsorship or affiliate links, and any such arrangement would be disclosed. Articles may point to software tools, startup services, research reports and company websites. Those sites sit outside our control, and we cannot vouch for their prices, claims or availability.
Warranties and liability
Occxam is provided in its current state, without a promise that it will always be online. As far as the law permits, the operator does not promise that articles will be accurate, complete or current, and is not liable for losses, including business losses, arising from reliance on them. Rights that the law gives you and cannot be waived stay intact, as does any liability the law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes and severability
The operator can revise these terms or the site whenever needed, and a revised version governs from the moment it appears here. If a part of them proves unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
